Georgia Aquarium

The Georgia Aquarium is one of the largest and most captivating aquariums in the world. Located in the heart of downtown, it houses thousands of marine animals across diverse habitats, including whale sharks, beluga whales, sea otters, and manta rays. We visited this location for many date nights back in college and can't recommend it enough!

High Museum of Art

The High Museum of Art is a cultural gem, celebrated for its diverse collections, including African, European, and contemporary art, as well as rotating world-class exhibitions. In April 2025, it will host Dutch Art in a Global Age, showcasing 17th- and 18th-century masterpieces by artists like Rembrandt and Frans Hals. This was a regular stop for us whenever we had guests visiting from out of town!

The Atlanta Botanical Garden is a peaceful retreat in Midtown, known for its beautiful seasonal displays, the Canopy Walk, and the Fuqua Orchid Center. In April 2025, enjoy the vibrant Atlanta Blooms festival, showcasing thousands of tulips and other spring flowers, or attend the Alston Lecture exploring the culinary history of unique plants. We attended several glamorous college events at this location!
